Is anyone here other than me using Eagle One Nanowax in the spray bottle? If your using it, what to you think?
Since my Cube is black I obsess with the paint, that’s why I usually don’t buy black cars. Black is one of the prettiest colors but a real PITA to keep up.
Anyway, some of you know. I drove between 600 – 700 miles to get my Cube. Shortly after I picked it up I had to drive it the long journey back home. I drove through the night arriving home about 1:30 A.M., needless to say I went in for a nap.
When I woke up I went out to the Cube and it had about a bazillion bugs splattered all over the front. So I mixed up some dish soap and warm water and gave it a good washing. I know, your not supposed to use dish soap. I did this purposely to get every bit of wax, oils, and dead bugs off, then I dried it.
Next I took it into the garage and put Xzilon paint protectent on it, the next morning I put a second coat of Xzilon on the hood and front facia.
After the Xzilon set I wanted to put on a nice coat of wax. Everything I’ve ever read about Xzilon, like paint, it needs proper care using a good wax with no cleaning agents (grit).
I looked up every wax I own and they all have some cleaning agents even stating that they can remove very fine scratches, even the bottle of NXT. But the Eagle one has no cleaning agents and is purely a liquid synthetic wax.
I’ve had the car now about two weeks, I’m thinking it’s been washed and waxed now about 8 times, but man is this thing smooth and shiney…LOL - Dan
