I guess my problem with this car is the line he writes "I will not accept pay pal for this purchase. Money order, cashiers check and wire only." AKA I won't take payment you can get back when you never get the car. I want to make a run with your cash.

But I thought perhaps the beautiful pictures of a really clean S15 would be worth the look. so I posted it.

importing a car into the US is importing a car to the US, it doesnt matter if your coming from canada, japan, mexico or *insert any contry here*. The EVO has a counterpart here (the lancer) and doesnt have the same motor as AWD DSMs? the s15 share almost NO components with any car nissan ever sold in the US. The car would be totally illegal no matter what you think you can do about it. You could register it as a show/race car for a year and have to export after that period or it could be crushed, or you could try and bring it across the border and have it crushed, either way it would be a total waste of money.

It's funny how much mitsu manages to **** up building the US EVO. 19psi on the 4g63 making 270 HP. That's ridiculous. DSMs made 210 on 7psi...so i guess that extra 12psi only is good for 60HP....

musicsurfman just SHUT UP. Stop talking you are making a complete fool of yourself. Also stop typing in caps. You know nothing. I would recommend deleting your own posts. Stop spreading misinformation and go away. Have a nice day everyone else.

That 270hp is doing a pretty good job turning out some sweet numbers.I thought the STI was going to trounce the EVO but thats not the case.

ok here is the low down. we can always make anything legal by just not telling anyone. my mechanic currently has an evo VI sitting in his garage and its been in this country for at least five years. its registered as a race car so it cant be driven on the streets but it is allowed to reside in the country. we've even taken it to moroso a couple of times but the moroso peeps didnt want us to run due to sum BS excuses......i think they were just scared IMO. but nonetheless, the evo is not converted nor is it stock. its a full race car with no interior, full roll cage, ten headlights, 400 hp engine, right hand steering........etc. the car can be brought into the country its just a matter of who you know at the port!!!!! lol. my two cents.
