Its gona be a lot bigger soon i think, and i have already seen gas stations around home selling the stuff.

My question is what is done to an engine to make it compatible with both 87oct pump gas and the 105oct E85 fuel?? And would it be possible via an engine rebuild to make a KA take to it without preformance loss?

Or is it impossible and i should stop thinking out of my a$$ o_0

I think the only things need are injectors and a switchable tune to run the different map for the e85. I think it would run without a tune but would lose some pwer if you were not taking full advantage of the 105octane with more timing less fuel. I saw on tv that they tested e85 and got just as good mileage and the power was close to the same. I dont think that good ol uncle sam will let something we can make in our backyards become the main fuel supply, just look at the U.S. selling our oil to japan for less then we import from the middle east. Uncle sam gets discounts on electronics and we get high gas prices. It is up to you, your wallet and imagination.

Ahh, ok... i was wondering if the alcohol would damage the seals in any way, or possibly wear components inside the engine too quickly.

Would there be a way to switch between a 93 octaine fuel map and a 105 octaine fuel map easily?? - - Lets assume i carry a laptop in the car all the time.
