Everyone has their own thoughts on fuel pump setups. I'm a fan of just one pump so if something goes wrong you know it (never thought of the series pump being like running a single). Not sure how tight of a fit the 044 is in a s14 tank but, it can be done on a s13. IMO 1 044 pump will be good for 700whp on e85.

series vs parallel flow

Yep. But then you're talking reliability of the meth pump and electronics associated with it working properly. Plus, you have to make sure the reservoir doesn't dry up. A lot of guys will bypass that nonsense if E85 is readily available. In Iowa, it is readily available so I wouldn't consider meth injection.

I agree nelson. One pump is the best way to go in terms of safety, troubleshooting, wiring, plumbing, etc.

yeah, i run meth on my car, its pretty kick a** and reliable if you do it right ( i am selling a kit btw hahah brand new from labonte ) but i have a awesome pump and huge resevoir, with a low level indicator, a solenoid so it dont drop and maintains pressure, and its pressure activated. i also have a fail safe that when there is any issue with spraying or a malfunction a led comes up and it goes to wastegate setting,

so it looks to me that a single in-tank bosch 044 (if it'll fit), 1000cc injectors, borg warner 7064 efr, will work perfect for my 350-450 whp and will have long term reliability with the head room for more power if i choose to do so. correct?

look into the new deatschwerks pump. seems promising and it's under $200.

are you doing your drifting near an e85 pump? if not, you might have trouble fueling up. my local tracks don't carry e85. you're going to burn through e85 faster too compared to gas.
