E1 parts interchangability

question? can the fwd E15 listed on the link above for 82-84 sentras be used in an L320? there is also an E16 listed for 82-85 sentras and also for 86-88 sentras, aparently with different valve cover options.

J15 pistons won't be of any use to you if you have a E1/J13 unless you have the crankshaft and rods also.  The FWD E series  engines are a totally different design and nothing about it is interchangable with the E1/J series.

       I assumed that but asked on the outside hope that it might just be the same casting style with plates bolted on to accomodate the FWD trans. oh well! Thanks for the quick reply IMH.
