hey im not 100% on what motor i want yet i have a 90 240sx so it would be a direct swap to a newer or new E and a DE would be more work. what am i going to need? ecu, steering lines what else? also is the de a "faster engine"? the E has the torque and the de has the hp so would going de be worth all the extra work? lastly if u got an sitting around E with low miles im lookin for one in so cal!

there are already several threads on this. at least 3 in the past week. check them out.

after owning both an E and a DE powered 240sx, imo, it comes down to a matter of preference. while both engines are torquey (sp?), the E feels like it has more muscle on the bottom end. the DE has a smoother pull with more power top end. before you make a decision, ride in a DE powered 240.

check the b/s/t forum.
