I got a J30 MAF , I was wondering what's the setting on the E-manage? Do I change the MAF TYPE at the list or I just have to change the injector size ? I have a set of 370cc , so is it mean that 370cc to 370cc? instead of 270 to 370?

My friend just changed ths setting form 370cc to 500cc without touching the sensor type in the setting mode (E-manage)( his setup is 550cc injectors with a VG30DET in his Maxima , I read the manual , the setting for the VG30DE or DET used the same sensor type, however he upgrade to a 300ZX MAF from his stock one? anyhow, what is it exactlY i have to do to make it work? my setup is J30 MAF w/ 370cc in a Ka24de ? change from NS_HW-7 TO NS_HW-2 ? then change from 270cc to 370cc? or correct it to 370cc to 370cc?

it would be 270cc to 370cc. and the maf type sounds right since i change my safc to 2 for the z32 maf

I just installed the MAF and adjust the setting form the E-manage..my car stall at the beinging with the setup NS_HW7 to NS_HW2 and then change from 270cc to 370cc. ... then I changed the injector size from 370cc to 370cc and the NS_HW2 stay the same and start it again..it's working fine..I think the Maf tuned for 370cc at the beginning..I'm not sure thou..that's what my friend told me and it works ... I'm not saying Strcuture 240sx is wrong..but we migh thave different piggyback...so the setting is different...so I just wan tto double check is my setting is correct? 370cc to 370cc with NS_HW2

see what happen with a piggyback is that it modifies the stock ecu. the stock ecu is programed for 270's and hw 7 for u i guess. s14 maf is hw5 i think s13 is hw6. but i always say if it works thats good enough for me

but for those who hack their stock MAF with a set of 370cc..there are no need for the piggyback, because the hack MAF is for the 370cc... so I thought the MAF relate to the size of the injector . not the ECU..I am not sure thou...correct me if I'm wrong... anyhow.. thanx for the input..

the size of the z32 has nothing to do with leaning out the afr. the z32 has a different hot wire that has different voltage measurments, might not be exactly right but its that idea.

+ a different calibration circuit so the relationship between the two MAF graphs is not x=kz. Hence the need for different VQ maps.

So what would I need to do in order to get a z32 MAF working with a S-AFC?
