You have to use the cable provided by Greddy, or find a hacked cable. Unfortunately, the Greddy cable has a USB-Serial connector. Run USB to USB, you have to get a serial to USB adapter cable.

0 just means it's running the factory settings. With the 370's, all you really need to get running is to use the injector size change feature and it will remap it for you. Mine runs fine on this set-up, but I'll probably get it on a dyno soon to fine tune it.

PS: try using some proper grammer. You sound like you are about 12.

you can use a regular usb to usb plug at any computer store it will work, also you can probably find someone nice enough to burn a ISO of the greddy software for you so you dont have to buy it

What type of laptop did you buy?...I'm having a hard time believing that it came with a USB port and no serial port. I really don't think I've ever seen a laptop without a serial port...and I've seen ALOT.

Nope. The E-manage uses a special USB-Serial plug that has a chip inside the serial end of it. So you need the cable Greddy provides. There are a few people out there selling their own hacked cable that works. But to connect it to a USB port on a laptop, you need to have a connector that you connect to the serial end of the Greddy cable with a USB connection on the other end. According to the FAQ on the E-Manage Yahoogroups site:

"There have been some questions about using a USB-serial adapter on a laptop that doesn't have serial ports to hook up the Greddy support tool cable. The Belkin FSU-109 adapter has worked for some people, but it didn't for one person - for them, the IOGear GUC232A worked perfectly. Just make sure whatever adapter you get can be returned to the store in case it doesn't work."
