I'm going to be installing an EMU into my 1991 CA18DET 200sx (european version of the 240sx/180sx). I only really have one question that I cannot seem to find the answer to anywhere. I was hoping that you guys would help me I'm gonna chuck the AFM in the trash and go for a GReddy pressuresensor. But I'd need an intake air temp sensor too, right? And GReddy don't sell those. So it seems like I can use pretty much any sensor, since there's an Intake Air Correction map in the box. I can't really find anybody who's done an EMU install and threw away their AFM to ask them. Anybody here done it?Thanks for a great forum!

theres only a couple types of standard thermocouples (temp sensors) which is what it sounds like you need. If thats the case, it should already have pins on the ECU and all you'll need is the sensor (yes they are pretty much universal) theres a couple online places that sell them. try omega engineering

yeah, that's basically what I need... but the output needs to be linear right? NTC/PTC resistors won't work very good? Or would they?

NO YOU DONT NEED AIR TEMP SENSOR.

update to the version 2.00, there is an auto smpler on the emanage ultimate to log the AFM voltage versus rpm. you then cut and paste these values into the airflow output map. you must have the greddy map sensor in option 1 for this to work.

i use emanage ultimate everyday and our race car uses it to reliably make over 450 rear wheel horses.
