I am going to install my E-manage monday or Tuesday on my 89 SOHC KA24E. I was just wonderig if any E-manage users knew if the rotary switch settings for the E were different than the DE settings? Thanks

Josh

they should be the same - 2-0-6 - the first switch is number of cylinders and the other two are for airflow meter type.

maybe the maf setttings would be the same as the sr20's since the two mafs are interchangeable. Im not sure about this but its a posibility. The setting for the sr20 is 4-0-7 i believe, or maybe 2-0-7

num,ber of cylinder + number of coils*

1st switch:1 - 1 coil (distributor) 3 cyl 2 - 1 coil (distributor) 4 cyl 3 - 2 coil (wasted spark) 4 cyl 4 - 4 coil (coil on plug) 4 cyl 5 - 1 coil (distributor) 6 cyl (only seems to be on the Toyota 1G-GTE inline 6) 6 - 3 coil (wasted spark) 6 cyl 7 - 6 coil (coil on plug) 6 cyl8 - 8 coil (coil on plug) 8 cyl A - RX-7 13B-REW B - RX-7 13B or 13BT C - RX-7 20B-REW

2nd and 3rd for nissan hotwire mafs:

Nissan Hotwire00 NS_HW-101 NS_HW-202 NS_HW-303 NS_HW-404 NS_HW-505 NS_HW-606 NS_HW-707 NS_HW-808 NS_HW-9 09 NS_HW-100A NS_HW-11

worst case you go through all 11 and see which works best but I'm 99% sure kae and kade mafs are the same

it would either be 2-0-7 (this is your motor with sr20det mafs)

or

it would be 2-0-6 (this if for your motor with ka24de mafs)

One of those two should definatly work
