Has anybody installed E-manage in their SR20DET powered 240sx? The ECU wire colors are different from the KA ecu. I refered to the Japanese instruction manual for the ecu pin location on the sr ecu since the american book only had the KA in it so i just cross-referenced to info with the table in the english book....I ordered an injector harness to control the fuel (is this even necessary to control fuel?) I didn't order the ignition harness but they sent one to me with it.....still unsure if i wanna even use it.....but is there any important info I need to know up front before installing this unit? I'd hate to mess something up with my ecu........
you should find out how it modifies the fuel delivery into the cylinders. I know the afc uses a modified signal for the air flow to trick the ecu, but not sure how the e-01'll do it. You should check with greddy about that. Ignition harness is going to allow you to modify your timing, I personally wouldn't mess with that, although it'll probably allow for greater control over each cylinder vs. doing it through the cas or distributor for the ka.
