i got a new emanage the other day.

wired it up, according to the japanese manual.

checked wiring for the emanage using nismo.org's sr20det ecu pinout guide,

fired it up,

nothing.

the engine cranks (spark, and lots of fuel, by the smell of it (no cat)) but it doesn't catch and idle.

anyone running this unit have any idea?

oh, btw, i only have the main harness hooked up right now (mafs interception, tps splice, rpm splice, power, ground, support cable)

thanks guys, your help is greatly appreciated :)

Make sure the wiring is correct. In particular, make sure you don't have the MAF intercept wires reversed as well. If you've made no changes to anything else on the motor, it should run like stock with no tuning done. You may want to make sure the dials for the +/- 20% fuel adjustment is all at 0 as well.

i checked the wiring; mafs wiring is correct.

i'm not 100% sure if i'm getting any spark; is there any way to check if the coilpacks are working other than pulling out the coil/sparkplug and cranking it?

ahhhhhhhhh

the dials are also all set to 0, and the settings dials are set to 4-0-7, which the japanese manual says is correct.

need to get this running!

thanks, guys

cheez...it aint that big of a deal to pull the packs out and check for spark..my suggestion would be too pull them out amd make sure they all fire, if nothing then check to make sure you didnt blow any fuses when doin the wiring. i dont know if the sr's have a igniter fuse. the engine i swapped into my car has a fuse for the igniter.good luck Dane
