For those who's using E-mange like I do, I was wondering if anyone had try out the pressure sensor feature that E-manage provide rather than upgrade a Z32 MAF or Mustang Maf. I am planning to push 14-17 psi after I rebuild the internal. would astock MAF with the E-manage pressure sensor setup? or not?

The E-manage map sensor does not replace your stock maf. The E-manage uses it if your stock maf is overflowed.

You should just use the pressure sensor for the following reasons:

CheaperYou get a new unit, instead of usedEasy of installation

well, lets break it down...stock mafs-free emanage pressure sensor and harness- what is it 120 I believe? boost capability- not yet documented. reliability- not yet documented. requires Emanage.Rebuilt Cobra mafs, if you have a core they are like 70 at advance auto. only good to 350 hp but have good resolution. Requires (AFAIK) JWT edu.Z32 mafs- 60 dollars used, 550 hp capability, incredibly durable and versatile, resolution is poor.

I went with the Z32.

I found one for 100 as a package deal.Boost capability - 3 bar.Reliability - I haven’t heard anything wrong with it.

“Requires e-manage” - but he said he already has one, so a pressure sensor is the best path for him.

of course you haven't heard anything wrong with it, it hasn't been out for that long. whereas the cobra mafs and z32 mafs have been used for years and are both oem parts.

I'd personally go with a Z32 MAF. The Pressure sensor requires much more tuning to determine how much fuel to inject when the Pressure sensor takes over and also requires you to figure out when to have the E-manage switch over to the pressure sensor. The Cobra MAF would be a pain as the E-Manage can't remap the new MAF for you. The Z32 MAF is already programmed into the E-Manage so it will be able to readjust the maps accordingly. The MAF would also be a more linear tune all the way through where the pressure sensor would require two different maps.

If you have the E-Manage and the E-01 then it will only cost you $20 and shipping...

The 3bar MAP will run off the same pressure as the E-01 uses...

I'm going to try the MAP befor I spend the cash on a MAF...

But dont wait up for me to do it. I'm not guna raise boost for a bit.
