Today i recieved my side skirts from extreme via fedex. I purchased the new polyurethane side skirts. Here are some pictures of the passanger side:

I would like to start his review by letting you know the goal i have for this vehicle. I would like to register the vehicle as a classic in my state (15+ years is the requirement). I would like to remove and replace the side skirts whenever i please, changing between only OEM panels and wheels, and aftermarket panels and wheels. I want to keep a very clean look to my vehicle in both of these "modes"
-So, When i first opened up the package i first realized how heavy these were. The material is very thick. This is good, as im sure it makes the product very strong. However, The material is SO thick that i can not fit the skirt between the door gap on the drivers side. I am going to have to shave away at the material to get it to fit.
-I was not able to tell from the pictures of the white S13 used for advertising, but these side skirts cover the "dip" on the fender and quarter panel. I am refering to where the thick black pinstripe adheisive would go. I did not want a side skirt that would cover these areas, so i am going to have to trim the material more. I should also note that the side skirts do not cover these "dips" evenly.
-As you can tell from the second picture, i would have to drill into the quarter panel to get the skirt to fit flush with it. I am not willing to do this. I will have to come up with some other nonintrusive way to lock the skirts in place. The drivers side sits closer flush with the quarter panel.
-reffering back and forth between my own pictures and pictures of teddy's car (he has oem side skirts) these skirts stick further out from the car. You can see from the third picture that this line does not flow well with an oem bumper. This will be an issue for the look i was trying to achieve.

So to sum things up...
+The product material is very strong
- To gain the look i am going for, many modifications must be performed to the product
- - modification must be made to the product to even fit my drivers side

If you have comments to make about my lack of coilovers at this time, remember that i am simply reviewing these side skirts. But im sure there wont be any of that, This isnt the other forum.

Id be happy to answer any questions you guys have. Sorry about the poor angle pictures, My car is stuck in the garage for about another month while i wait on some turbo gaskets.

Hm.
That sucks, but it's a pretty well known fact that a lot of ED's parts don't fit well.

Do they allow returns?
