so where is your wastegate getting it's signal anyways? this may be the dumbest suggestion on the face of the planet, but this is what i would do:

disconnect the wastegate signal so it wont open at all.... then make sure you keep your eyes on your boost gauge at all times.. see if you can make more that 5 pounds of boost...

can anyone verify that this might work..

and also could it not just be a boost leak somehwere... do you have fmic or side mount?

its getting it signal from boost controller teeed off a vacum line to the boost controller to the wastegate . i think i have a bad or clogged cat cause i have a magnaflow high flow cat and i didnt punch out the guts. sometime my car will run rich and shoot out some flames what do u guys think .

i mean from a vacum line then split to blow off valve then to boost controller then to wastegate sorry for the confusion. i ran it this way since i had the sr in it and it ran fine all the way up to 18 lbs

im just trying to help you trouble shoot.. but why dont you just try taking the boost controller off... also... if your running rich it can clog your cat.. i have a test pipe on mine, but i dont have to worry about emmisions where im at either

didnt you say you thought your cat was clogged... cant you just leave the downpipe and the exhaust hooked up, but just take the cat out.....

it's gonna be really loud coming right off the downpipe, but at least you can troubleshoot and see if it's the cat...
