ok i was wondering what the difference is between stock computers and a number 10 computer is i have both i bought a car that was used in racing for parts and found the computer in it they both 1989 nissan 240sx fastback with ka24e motors in em he was running the single cam in the car for racing it was built till the rod bearings welded itself to the crank lol

sorry, i dont know what the difference is on those two ecm's and i doubt anyone who frequents the mechanic forum will either.

good news: i know some of the ka guys in the ka forum know all about that. also, speedracer(who hangs out in the rwd sr forum) has a whole list of 240/180/silvia ecm codes.

check around with them and i guarantee you will find out. if i were a betting man my money would be on one ecm being for automatic.

well i thought that two but they both 5 spd the one im working on is in great shape except interior the race car one i bought for parts has perfect interior he had in it took it out to race but when he crashed it because sumthun in motor gave out i bought it all from him. just wanted interior but said whole car goes o well
