E-Brake working?

well today was my driving test to get my license again.but they failed me due to E-Brake not working.dude told me to put it in reverse ( it's an AUTO) and pull the E-Brake, after that my stupid car just kept on rolling back... i guess the stupid Les Schwab messed up my E-brakes when they did my rear rotors. when i pull the E-brake while driving, i dont get any braking from it....how do i fix this problem? is it the cable being too long? or bad pads?front brakes work fine, and on UP hill, car stays still in D with E-brakes on. only problem is the R with E-brake on.

well... i think i just need to adjust the e-brake cable.how do i tighten the e-brake cable?

were the e brake boot cover is, its on the bottom , you might have to pull the e brake to get to it. theres a whole and you will see the adjustment bolt, for tools you will need a 10mm sock , and adjust it were you want it to be .

how long ago was this done? u can go back & let them handle it since it should still be under warranty.

did u try parking on a hill w/ "N" & e-brake pulled to see if it works?

but, yeah, go back to the garage that did this to double check their f-up. (after u try adjusting the cable-- 6-8 clicks to engage the parking brake)

since were talkin about e brakes. The noraml is like 7-9 clicks on the 240 but i get 19 clicks? Why?

Because you need to tighten the ebrake, tighten the 10mm mentioned above.
