E-Brake Light

Does anyone else's e-brake light come on when you apply pressure to it? Mine comes on when my leg bumps up against it. Not a real problem more like an annoyance. Is there an adjustment that anyone knows of?Thanks,cmk

take off the rubber boot thing around the e-brake and take a look at it...maybe sumptin came loose

it could be that your brake fluid is low that why the e brake light would turn on but it dosent explaain why it gose on when you bump it....

oh yeah i didnt think of that...my dads ebrake and ABS light would come on when the fluid was low

EDIT: that was on a 91 ranger
