i have a 93' s13 base model. everytime i take a turn too quick, drift, the e-brake light comes on and stays on. it usually goes away after a long drive or if i quickly turn the opposite way after the e-brake light comes on. ive searched the forums and still have no idea what it could be. any guesses?

Sounds like low brake fluid or the float in the reservoir may be sticking.

seems to be gone now. my brake fluid was around the middle of the maximum and minimum mark but i added some more and the light hasn't been on since. i figure it could have been the float and i didnt want to deal with that mess. thanks for all the replies people.

Your pads are getting thin or there's a leak somewhere. If you push the piston in with clamp wrench when you replace pads, brake fluid will over flow. Keep in mind that.

i noticed that you mentioned drifting.... i had the same problem but it was because my car is lowered too far in the front and i rubbed some of my chassis harness and that caused my issue.
