sure it's not because you're low on brake fluid?

Yeah i would say it is because you are low on brake fluid

your low on brake fluid. I have to stop being a cheap *** and buy a new master cylinder. I have to refill it weekly.

If you battery light is on as well it means your alternator is crap.

well, if you don't have a steady leak like nelson, low brake fluid means your brake pads are starting to thin out... check them soon! (well, not THAT soon; u can get away w/ it for a few hundred miles/depending on your driving habits... but better to check them before the squealers sound or worse- the metal-tometal contact)

or make sure that the parking brake is all the way down. mines lite up in less than a click (normal).

PS: i agree w/ spec too
