I have an S13 and is it just me or does the e brake handle have to be pulled up REALLY high for it to work? It's really close to the steering wheel when I pull it up. Is this normal? And has anybody altered their ebrake handle so you don't have to pull it up so high?

so when u pull it up, its about 2-3 inches close to the steering wheel? (depending on how you adjust your steering wheel)

the guy i bought my car from owned it since new. and one thing he told me was that before i pulled up on the handbrake i should push the brakes down all the way, then release the pedal after i pulled on the handle. When i do that, the handle usualy only goes up 4-6 clicks. i know when someone has moved my car and they don't the handle is way past 45 degrees.

cool. thanks a lot specialknord. I just took the ebrake boot off and used a regular 10mm wrench. I think there's only one nut in there that you can adjust anyways. It looks a lot better now. :)
