does anyone get bothered by the ebrake on the s13 240sx's? I hate that my lower thigh sits on the e -brake. has anyone done anything to move the ebrake a little?

Try moving your seat back a little, so your legs are stretched more out in front, rather then bending them to the outside.

Yes I also dislike the ebrake location. I want a relocation kit! :P I have to say the interior design of s13s is sub-par in my opinion :(

I like the layout of my vehicle. The seats need to be replaced to really stayed tucked in the seat for spiritied driving but over all I like it. How tall are you guys or are you just that close to the wheel?

im 5 11 but i do like to have my leg be able to throw the clutch in pretty good so i move up, but not that much. if i put my seat all the way back im ok but its uncomfrotable driving for me so im not comfortable anyway. the ebrake should have been on the other side.

My friend had that problem too. I think he also kept getting the side of his left leg bruised where they banged against the window crank during some "spirited driving". Anyway, I think the only thing you can do is get an aftermarket bucket seat that will hold you snugly, and away from the ebrake.

Well I am 5'10 or so and have sorta the same driving style. I find if i bend m left knee (not on the dead pedal) about an inch from the wheel. I sit rather straight up so I wont be pushed around too much.

Well too help you out. The Japanese version's have the e-brake on the right side of the shifter. So if you could find that lower piece maybe you could figure something out in terms sitting the e-brake up over there. I dont know if you can mount it but maybe the holes are there (cross your fingers).

I've never had a problem with the ebrake location in my s13.

basicly the setup is the same for s14's my leg hits the e brake.. but its worth it because the position of the shifter is nice.. its right there...

P.S. I'm like 5'11 99999/100000 and my leg never touches the ebrake, so unless you got some junk in your thighs, I dont know how you could be hitting it.

My leg hits too. I'm like 6 foot 1 and thats with my seat all the way back and I'm fairly skinny. But when i drift parking lots I have minimum problems. Nick

for drifting and racing you can try using the handlebar pad from the neighborhood kids' bmx. you might have to cut it to make it. and find a way to keep it from sliding off.im 6'2 and i have the same problem + my head hits the roof .

I would kill to be able to move the seat down about 3 inches so my head doesn't whack the far left section of the roof. Everytime it gets jostled my 6'3 self gets it's head whacked hard into that section. I'd also like to be able to move back 2 more inches and put the e-brake on the other side like a Z32.

I bet with some time, a milling machine and a welder I could refab our brackets down a few inches. but this is all in my head......

I love the interior of the s13 never really had a prob w/ the ebrake. I'm 5'10, 170 lbs and my car fits me like a glove. I had a 91 integra for a couple years and hated that interior, I guess the e brake thing is just something you gotta deal w/ if you want sporty ****pit style interior

what you need is a complete replacement hydrolic ebrake like this. no no not the girl, what she is holding. at least i think that is what it is. could be horribly horribly wrong.
