Hey everyone, I've been having problems with my e-brake in terms of it's locking abilities. I used to pull the handbrake to drift every now and again back about 3 months ago before I changed tires, and now for some reason even when I pull it in the rain it will not lock the back wheels like it used to. How do I tighten it up so I can slide it around in these awesome Florida torrential downpours.

Pull it all the way up. Look at the front, near the base. You will see a little hole. In that hole is a 8mm nut. Tighten that.

I don't have any sockets deep enough or any wrenches that'll go in that far, I guess I'll have to live with it until I can buy an 8mm deep-well socket.

same problem with mine.Just hardly ever use my ebrake so no need. nly time it works is when it's fully pulled or during those awesome florida rains. Probably be best for me to fix now that I know it's that simple.

Wow, guess my S13 is differnet because all I used was a 1/4 drive, a 1" extension, and an 8mm socket...
