I just wanted to start a debate on this. I don't understand why everyone hates on Dynojets so much.

I don't know anything about Mustang Dyno's, but I know that the rollers on Dynojet's weigh over 2500lbs., so it puts a load on your car. I mean, the numbers aren't totally unrealistic.

I do know this though. In Omaha there is a Mustang Dyno, and where I live, Lincoln, there is a Dynojet. 3 different people, that I'm aware of, have dyno'ed on both. And all three of those people(having over 500whp each) have gotten similar numbers on both dynos. Their numbers weren't far enough apart to even argue that Dynojet's suck.

Anyways, we just got this Dynojet here in Lincoln, and we're proud of it. It's nice to not have to go up to Omaha for a dyno tune. But, everyone in Omaha is making fun of the Dynojet, and they really don't have any arguments to back up their sheet talking.

I don't know enough about the situation, so I was wondering what some of your views were.

it really does not matter as long as you use the same dyno all the time....

are you using the dyno to brag? or to tune? depends on what you want

From what I've seen, a Mustang reads about 5% higher than a Dynojet would...at most.

For example - a Stock SRT-4 Neon put out 224fwhp last weekend in Melbourne - I expected 215-218fwhp based on magazine articles I've read and such...so that's 3-4% high.

But both are good - As Adam said, stay consistent...

Later - Brian

Yea I know, I'm always going to keep using the Dynojet. I was just wondering why people think that the 2 dyno's are different.
