ok im dynoing my SI 25 next week prolly friday, i got the standard mods, filter, 3in dp back exaust, test pipe, boost controller, hybrid fmic, walboro fuel pump, and nismo fpr.

im running a lil rich, spike at 13.2psi hold at around 11.4psi, and i have splitfire coil packs, on 93 octane

now just for fun i wanna see what yall guess im gonna dyno at, i wanna have a pool, where anyone who gueses paypals a buck or 2 to kamin or something and closest guess gets it all

i think it would be fun to do, ill post up the dyno sheet on the internet for proof, just wondering to spice up the rb forum!

269.5 rwhp is my guess. those splitfire coils will do nothing.

if you're "going for a number" you can probably squeeze out 300 if you crank the boost and stain the turbo

kamin - not particuarly, they can give god awful inflated numbers.in the end a dyno is nothing more than a tool, used to measure for a change.but inertia dynos are horrible like dynojets, no loading at all...

The Dyno jet I go too dosen't read high. The Hub dyno I went to with my VE gave me 174hp and on the dyno jet with the same conditions I only hit 166hp. Hmmmmmm.

Very true and most magazine cars that we see are dyno'd on dynojet. So many time the HP numbers are greatly inflated.

Most engine builders talk BHP and most parts got a BHP limit when you talk to the company selling it. If they talked WHP they would have to ask you if you ran manual/auto transmission, FWD/RWD/4WD and exact transmission loss.

And most serious engines are tuned in an engine dyno like Superflow, also BHP.

I like it!

I agree that WHP are moving the car but you need to think BHP when you build the engine and buy the parts.
