I'm pretty sure they are different, but what mafs are you running right now? If you're running the stock one, you will need to make sure your ecu is setup to use it.

Also, I think there may be a usdm maf that is interchangable with the stock maf, something like a maxima maf or something, but you'd have to verify that.

You cannot interchange 300zx, q45 and RB maf sensors without compensating for it with some sort of piggyback or standalone.
