Well I dynoed my car Sunday on a brand new DynoJet. I wasn't too impressed with my car. I knew I wasn't boosting 7 psi and didn't know why or even if I was. I don't have a bost gauge yet. I figure I was only running 3-4 psi. I made 174.5hp and 180.6 TQ. I recieved my wideband Saturday afternoon an tuned my air fuels in a little Saturday night. My air/fuel at the dyno are a little on the lean side, I think.

2800 - 13.13000 - 13.53200 - 13.53400 - 13.53600 - 13.63800 - 13.74000 - 13.84200 - 13.74400 - 13.84600 - 13.44800 - 12.95000 - 13.55200 - 13.25400 - 13.25600 - 13.25800 - 13.36000 - 13.06200 - 12.86400 - 12.56600 - 12.46700 - 12.2

Well finally solved my boost problem, my internal accuator was hitting my compressor housing, I have to shorten it up a little. Also I think my used HKS BOV took a crap. Nick

A little too lean... you wanna have it at 12.5 or lower.

And get a boost gauge ASAP, it could save your motor ;)

my wideband was about a point richer then the wideband at the dyno i went to. this would be most likely sincei have mine a couple inches from the turbo and they stick theirs in the muffler. i do believe that makes theirs leaner than what the motor really is. so now i figure to jsut go hlaf a point lower than what my wideband says

The same for me, I have mine about 18-20 inches from the turbo. I was a point at least, richer. On my wideband I never go leaner than 12.5. The dyno wideband at the tail pipe seemed a little off being that far away.

And I'm guessing both of you ain't running cats... what about a car with a cat? Could it have a more pronounced effect? Hmmm hadn't thought of that. Maybe my car was not SO lean, after all, last time I dynoed... since I dynoed with a cat...

I think that next time I go to the dyno I'll remove the cat first...

Makes me wonder just how rich I'm running...10:1 afr's measured at the tailpipe through a cat. Maybe I could have made soething more like 360-370 if it was leaned out and not missfiring :)
