Well for a while now I have been questioning if I do indeed possess a T3/T04e, 57 trim, .63 A/R turbo. Since I bought it off the forums I never had anything proving it was genuine.

Last night I dynoed at 17 psi and hit 332/322. Upped the boost to 24 and played with the duty cycle and got 373/371. Plugs had to be gapped down because we were blowing out spark when I tried the higher boost run. They were gapped at 25 and left there. I didn't play with the timing so it's whatever bull **** that JWT puts it at. At this point I am happy and I fully intend on getting rid of the SAFCII/JWT combo and getting a standalone with bigger turbo later on down the line. Also this is WITHOUT my Crower V3's which I have had ordered and paid for since early April, Crower is just being a bunch of idiots.

Set-up is:SuperTech 9:1BoostDesigns Manifold (old tubular style)Tial 38mm wastegate base 1 bar spring (dumped)3" downpipe to 3" test pipe to......nothing.Spearco 24.5 x 8 x 3 Bar and PlateJWT ECUZ32 MAFSAFC II

Graph will be posted later.

That is plenty enough power to have a lot of fun!!

What is your base timing set at? Since everybody says that JWT timing is backed off to much I bumped my base timing last night to 22 degrees last night.

My base timing.......is messed up. Very difficult to explain I am pretty sure that when we set it, it was at 19 or 20 base. I could play with it, but at this point I don't care. When I get a standalone then I will have real timing control and a bigger turbo so I won't need to quibble.

Sweetness....

Any kind of timing display tool handy? Sounds like you could use more timing.... The JWT is prolly pulling a lot of timing. Still kickass!

Kudos to you... I busted my rods up on the first run at 18PSI... but I think I detonated or something. O well live and learn. I should have waited to be on the dyno... anxious youngling.

Great numbers by the way.

Been running stock rods for two years now so I am not ready to jump on the hate the rods bandwagon. I refurbished mine and that's what I am using currently. I am pretty sure that either the dyno reads low or my turbo is not as big as I thought cause if it was a genuine T3/T4e then I should be 400+ easy at 24psi. Oh well.

No video because I didn't have one that night and no one could stand the noise of the car inside the shop without ear plugs. I would just give the signal and floor it and plug my ears, open downpipe + dumped wastegate out the front fender = LOUD in a closed off shop.

Jon, you should be at over 500hp at 24psi with a standalone and a bigger turbo.

But with your current setup, I still dont think we would have any problem tuning 400hp out of it without stupid cams.

Youre crazy man! Haha seriously thats balls right there, considering the amount of 300-400rwhp KA-Ts with stock rods that have been blowing up recently.

Honestly though I would stick to the 17psi (if you refuse to go lower)... The gains you got up there at 24psi arent really worth it I dont think, considering the additional heat youre going to be putting out of the turbo with so much pressure...

Sounds like a lot of fun though, hows she feel? Be careful dude-- nobody wants to see you pop your motor too!

I ain't either. Not yet at least until I open up my engine. But since it blew up... I'm using forged rods... just in case.
