Well I 'm getting ready to finish my project in another month or so and I finally found an import shop here in tulsa that has a dyno. They charge $50/Hr for the dyno. My question is how many hours do you think it will take to tune My emanage system? If it is more than 3 or 4 I might as well just buy a WB02 and tune it on the street. What do you think?

$50 an hour is a good deal jump on it and no more than 2 max i would guess, also make sure they have the air/fuel meter some do and the one that your talking about for $50 an hour might not have it for that price

I like using the wideband with my E-01 to tune... Unless the dyno keeps a record of you're boost, rpm, a/f then its only good for doing pulls...

I would love to go to a dyno and tune... WAY better then streat tuning...

After spending 5-10k its stupid not to tune it on a dyno for a few hundred more.

i say buy the wideband and do the dyno tuning when any of the local groups set up a special deal with any of the shops that have a dyno. I remember going to an rsx meet at a local shop which charged ten bux for each dyno pull. we have another local meet coming up where 3 pulls will run us 40 bux. so the dyno deals do occur but its on the local groups to set it up. wideband rules!

I highly reccomend using a dyno. Thats the only place I have ever tuned my car at. We charge $175 for hookup and the first hour and $125 an hour after that. The best thing about a dyno, and when I say dyno I mean a Mustang Dyno, where we can actually LOAD the car like it would be on the street, where as dynojets are basically just an accelerometer. Anyways, the dyno will create a completely static environment, temperature, load etc.
