Here's a compilation I made of my dyno vids and some fun stuff on the street. If you wonder why the boost gauge says 30 psi during the vid...well I tried to make a 30 psi run but my ignition started to cut out so I'll go back for another 30 psi run in the future. The vid is available in Divx format: Dyno Day Divx Zip

If you need the Divx codec/player, download it here: Divx.com

thanks guys. I guess you saw a lil preview of a 30 psi run. Well, I'll go back in the next 3-4 weeks and see what it will pump out there. I'm shooting for 440rwhp.

Dayum that was a big file. It sounds nice, a bit evil. I wish I could run that much boost.

haha, thats funny, what a small world. I always park beside 240sx's if I get a chance. I remember seeing yours. Boy I love their chicken wings! lol.The dyno was done in Columbia, SC at ATS Performance.Im finally back in town now. I was out near Underground Racing off of Tyvola where there were a bunch of sweet cars on Saturday night(640 rwhp Supra, Wide-body FD with a lip on the back rims thats as wide as one of my whole back rims with big nasty turbo, turbo mustangs, new Viper, etc.)

Was wondering what exhaust is on that. That sounds freaking mean.

First off great accomplishment, but I do have quaestion...how come it took you 24psi to make less power than another KA-T (a few threads down) which made over 400whp at only 16psi??

24psi seems like an awful lot on 2.4L to make 390hp, even on my buddies 2.0L 4G63 it only took 22psi on a 20G to make that much, sorry if the answer is staring me in the face :)

the reason why im not making more power than I should be is because my compression across is the board is "mysteriously" low(140 psi across all 4). Most people seem to get 150-170, it all depends i guess.

I figured out that I was rendering the video without compressing the audio, thats why my file size was big. So now its redone only in Divx format but the file size is only 20mb.

Well, one reason is klatt's car runs a lower static compression due to running higher boost more reliably, and Ivan's car runs a higher static compression because of the stock internals. It is also another case of the very conservative and mildly rich running JWT non-user-programmable ecu compared to a standalone to which you can control everything that goes on in the engine. Also, ryan runs a stock ignition, but I am not sure about Ivan's car.

if I wanted to make alot higher numbers, I would venture to building a forged stock compression motor and running 24 psi max on C16 to make killer numbers. But I'll get to 30 psi soon with my upcoming ignition upgrade. My car is reliable now, detonation resistant with such compression, and still makes 390 rwhp. I am happy where I'm at because of my goals of getting into the 11s and breaking 400 rwhp are close coming.

you prolly need the Divx Pro player. If you look at my first post in this thread it gives you a link. Download the player and then the video will play fine in Windows Media Player.

sweet vid/car man... I love that sound, when the turbo takes hold and the car just sits down... you're not making as much power as you should be, and the thing still sounds a little weird to me... but damn man that must be a BLAST to drive, everything that I'm working for this summer is aiming for that goal.... to feel like that. arrgh. nice man.

thanks for the compliments. I know it really should be making more horsepower than it is at certain boost levels but my compression is holding me back. Ill just boost it to 30 psi again and see if I can get 440 rwhp. Thats enough power for me and all I want to do is get into the 11s.BTW, what do you plan for fuel management?
