it was running like crap so i hadnt been driving. i had to wait for it to completely warm up before i could drive it. my tune seemed to not have much drivability to it. i made an exhaust for the tuner and he said he'd look over my chip and make his own, and compare.
got my car dialed in, changed the tps, fixed some problems, yadda yadda. final run after dialing in fuel pressure was 208.69hp, 188.99lb ft, 10psi, 13.0 AF. tourque and power curve were perfect, graph is a steady climb to 6200(furthest ive gone as it was a little lean) air fuel was a straight line on 13.0 from 3500 on. boost fluctuated betwen 6 and 9. climbed from 6 to 12 from 5100rpm to 5600rpm, went right to 10.
in order to have a 14.7 idle, it ran way lean. increase fuel pressure to have a 12.5 idle i ran the 13.0 which is still lean. im looking for just below 12. i dont know, im happy with that number, i was happy to break 200 at less than 10psi. goal is low 300s at the lowest pressure possible. we'll see what these turbo actually flow for. Joe has squeezed at least 250 out of an sr t25 at 19psi on a blacktop sr. didnt personally see it but the owner did and his file is in the computer, i'll print it out too. hell this turbo doesnt even start to work until 12psi..it should be interesting.
these numbers are coming straight from the print out in front of me. if you dont believe me(numbers arent unbelievable anyway) both charts will be posted to compare the BEST1 tune and the Joe Miller tune. these are nice because they have all 4. i hooked a map sensor right up to my plenum and read through the dyno. neat!
from now on, my car will be a dyno slut. hope it helps you guys out, i know a lot of you are running a similar setup.
btw, we have a dynojet using standard correction, no funky numbers. talk **** all you want, a dyno is a dyno. and my car sounded ****ing TANK on it.. vids, printouts, pics, etc will soon follow. peace bishez
