I'm assuming you have a SR20DET? Those numbers are a bit low. My buddy's Redtop dynoed at 290 whp at 16psi with the exact things you are listing.

Have no idea what his setup is...different FMIC,injectors..etc.

I layed down last year (t25) 238 whp with roughly 250 lbs of torque at 15 psi. I had my car on a mustang dyno.

It sounds like you have a strong setup.

290whp sounds like a bit much on a stock turbo, even a t28, but maybe I'm wrong.

yeah it was on stock injectors and stock turbo. It just seems weird that i have 40 more lbft of torque than horsepower.

its because it runs dangerously lean during peak torque, say bye bye to the motor if you keep running it like that

its funny when I first got the SR in my car and drove it with the stock tune and saw the numbers on my wideband it tripped me out how bad the stock tune was, granted the car wasnt absolutly stock. back to the topic at 16psi the injectors might be maxing out thats why you can get more fuel in, whats your fuel pressure at. Altogether you should turn the boost down a bit, the turbo wont last long much at 16 psi. Its a stock t-25 right?

no offense but that setup is good for blowing everything up. the turbo is more than maxxed as are the injectors. the engine is of course going to detonate at that a/f.

Yeah dude, lower the boost pressure else you are gonna lose a piston or head gasket.

You could also raise fuel pressure by about 3-4 lbs. but that will enrichen the rest of the map a good amt.

how is going to a 12.6 a/r gonna blow it up? My friend tuned his sr to a 13.1 a/r all across the map and he did that last year. His motor is still fine today.

At peak torque it looks like you hit high 14's maybe 15:1 AFR.

Interesting... makes more sense then.

Your friend might get away with it but it is by no means ideal. He would make more power with a richer A/F and a tad bit more timing.

You are maxxing injectors, maxxing turbo, and running a semi-risky tune at peak torque...........not to mention you have a correction factor of 1.02 which means it is inflating the numbers a bit. So I don't really have any reason to congratulate the numbers but I will congratulate you on having the car running, I know the feeling.

its fine for running on the dyno. i have noticed cars tend to run different from day to day. i also dont believe in aggressive tuning for street cars.just my view point.
