Base timing should be 20 degrees but not at full boost. I have had two Efi specialist 550c and 740cc tunes for t3 and they pull 14 degrees of timing. Using nistune I can see the maps and in the last load column above 2800 rpms at full load the timing is 14 degrees. Great numbers BTW! For a T28 I could see pulling at the most 16 or 17 degrees of timing depending on fuel, climate and altitude at 15psi of boost.

Alright, I'll try and pull the bin from the ECU later and open it up with ROM editor and see what the timing does after a certain rpm.

man you must be running the 25+%ethanol pump gas we get here(rated at 10 tested to be 24.8%) anywho 20* under boost normally equals failed ringlands, pull at least 4degrees for safety.

I just bought a GTiR T28 w/T04B Compressor housing. I can't wait to finish buying the supporting mods for it so I can slap that b**** on!

I might be messaging you for some advice when I get closer to completion.Any tips for me during install? The turbo is already clocked/internal wastegate actuator fixed for install.

Here is a quick pic of it.

The only thing I really had trouble with was the wastegate actuator, but it seems like yours is already good to go. When I clocked the turbo i couldn't bolt up the wastegate actuator so I had to modify the t25's one.

Other than that make sure you get the clocking plates for the compressor inlet and outlet. I had mine cut and welded and ended up only costing $50, but I'm sure you can find some used ones for around that price. Good luck!

Impressive numbers!

What manifold are you using? Where'd ya find the GTiR turbo? Ebay? And I thought the stock MAF ran out well before 300whp...
