Here are the results from my trip to the dyno this past weekend. Unfortunately, I didn't have time to set my timing due to barely getting my injectors in before the appointment. So between that and the fact that we had to rely on the SAFC II to correct more than 30% of the fuel in the upper RPM range, I should hopefully have better results in a couple weeks after getting my ECU chipped so I only have to tweak the fuel with the SAFC. And the average boost on each pull was about 14psi on a Mustang dyno.

Thanks Carl for all the help! You're the man!

wow, thats pretty good power... better than me In case you cant read it because its kinda small, and bad scan: Its 235.2hp and 207.1tq @ 10lbs of boost. SR20detStock Injectors, Stock air flow meter, Greddy FMIC, Full 3in exhaust. Very little tuning from the AFC2, it was running kinda rich before I cranked the boost, so it just leaned it out to where it should be for a turbo car (12:1). I did need to add some fuel between 4300rpm's 5600 but its a very flat air flow ratio now. The motor couldnt run better under these conditions.

heh.thing is on a mustang dyno my stock setup pulled 180whp and the same setup on a dynojet yeilded 230whp.250whp on a mustang is a pretty decent power figure, its about 280ish on a dynojet, if not a hair more.and richard, glad the car is treating you well .

Bad news...my car hates me again. I noticed on the way back from checking my alignment that my car was pulling like *** and bucking quite badly when trying to accelerate. I checked the ECU and it's throwing the knock code (34). The SAFC is also showing ridiculous knock as well. I've had trouble with the knock code before but it eventually cleared itself. Think my knock sensor just crapped out? I've checked all the wiring and it's fine. Does anyone know if there is a sensor that will interchange with the RB20 knock sensor? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I don't know of any that will interchange, but in the drag race world we just ground the wire. I know you probably drive this car alot so that should only be a temporary fix, and it can also be a test of your sensor. If you ground the wire out and the problem quits, replace the sensor.

Yeah I'm curious about the boost too. And what kind of dyno was that...Mustang or Dynojet? Once I get my knock problem solved, I'll be back to the dyno again. Hopefully with better results...

certianly not bad numbers then.once i sort the problems ive been having on my car im gonna fill up with a tank of race gas (100 octane) and crank the boost to 20psi and see what she does, and if she is sitll in on piece after the 20 psi pull we'll see what she does at 22.
