I hit the dyno yesterday to see what the car would put down. Here are my mods95.5 Series II RB25DET3" turbo back exhaust with 3" O2 sensor housing10 psi of booststock IC/Stock turbo/Stock ECUfirst 2 runs where messed up because my tach signal wouldn't show up on the dyno since my stock tach doen't work and I was looking at the dyno's tach I let off early...as a resault it showed I put down 290 ft/tq but the last two pulls I used my speedo to and let off at 145 KM The car put down 230 WHP and 145 ft/tq. The power curve is very broad and flat. A/F ratio on the top end are 10.5:1 and it lower. I have the dyno charts on my computer but I can only veiw them with a dnyojet runviewer any idea how to post them?

There was a sentra with a GTi-R motor with a FMIC T28 turbo 15 psi put down 258HP 255 ft/tq

Torque is *awfully* low. Honda S2000s have similar horsepower numbers and more torque than that....

The RPM's are messed up sorry about that. Could that be why my TQ is weird?

check your fuel and timing because having enough retarded your motor could probably run like $#$@.

TQ is off I think because the RPM signal wasn't right. There was a saab that dynoed with the same problem. His RPM signal would break up in the high RPMS and his TQ reading droped off big time but his HP looked fine.

Yeah man, who made your 3" O2 housing?? If you could provide some info on that, it would be AMAZINGLY helpful. I plan to have my 92 RB20 240 running by spring break (3 weeks), and the custom O2 housing work is gonna be one of my biggest hurdles. If I could get a 3" O2 housing from somewhere that would clear the steering shaft, and then have a 3" downpipe and cat to connect to my 5Zigen rocket exhaust, it would be sooooo perfect...

I don't have any pics right now but I can tell you I made my DP and O2 housing 1 peice. That eliminates the flange that takes up alot of space. It isn't pretty but it works.

Made it. Used the gasket as a template and drilled the holes for the bolts. I then used a torch to cut out the center part and used a dremel to port match it to the gasket. I took the 3" exhuast peice and reshaped the engine of it to an oval shape (more like a long rectangle) and welded it to the flange. For the O2 sensor hole I used the one from the stock housing

I took the car to the track last friday night. The car felt pretty strong and I was hoping to hit 13's. Well the track opened at 6 pm and we got there right at 6. This was the first night they where open for the season. We didn't get a run till about 8:30!!! 3 cars broke down thowing oil down the track. After waiting for ever I finally got to make my first pass in the carmy first run2.303 60 ft14.3 @ 101.I don't have a tach so I was bouncing off the rev limiter in each gear which put me out of my power band. Waited in line for another hour. 60ft 2.335 14.2 @ 102I shifted a bit earlier so I think that is why my MPH and time is a little better. My traction wasn't a problem at all but my clutch will slip if I try and launch it so that is why my 60ft's are not soo good. There was another 240 down there with an RB25 his best time was 11.9 @ 116 or somthing like that. That time was with the stock turbo, FMIC, 13 PSI of boost and huge slicks. His new setup that he has down there was a strait T4 @ 18 psi and his slicks. He only got one run in. When he launched his fuel pump loss fuel from the pickup and the car cut out. He still was able to run a 12.4 @ 118! He has an SDS standalone on the car as well.

hey, about the rpm problem on the dyno, connect to the rpm loop on the back of the motor and make sure you have the plugs fire every 180 in the make run options. Your power curve is WAY off, cuz rpm and torque determines hp. If you need any other help let me know, we have a dynojet at our shop too.
