Hey again, I havent done any more mods to my car lately...hopefully I will get something for christmas for my car ;) My car has been running very smoothly since it was completed about a month ago. I just have to check my engine every few days now make sure nothing is leaking, loose, low on fluids, etc... I took my car to Tulsa Dyno shop here is a link: http://www.tulsadyno.com/custo...40SX/It was a very fun day. I got about 176RWHP @7PSI, stock exhaust, and 176 Max Torque on my very best run (the first run) I think my first run was the best because my intercooler was the coldest. According to the graph I am running a little rich. Its time to get a SAFC!! Now time to get exhaust, boost controller, SAFC, to bring my HP to hopefully around 225+RWHP @12PSI

Nice pics. I like the Autozone Air filter..ha.. That is the same one I used on My car. I went the RB25DET, so I am curious to see what kind of numbers it will put down since your 20 did 176whp.Very nice, and thanks for documenting your install for everyone to see. I was in too much of a hurry and didn't take any pics.

why were you only running 7psi? ...10 is the stock boost. Another thing, if your using the stock KA exhuast, the will hold back your HP considerably.

really? What is the stock level for the RB25DET? I hooked up my boost gauge, and have been driving it around and thought it was only peaking about 7, but maybe I am wrong.

I am still running the stock exhaust as well. Never has a engine needed a better exhaust more than the RB's. It is the quietest car I have, and that is just plain sad.

Please feel free to contribute to my breath freely RB fund :)

Damn that stock exhaust is killing the hp. Looks like after 5800 it's all down hill from there. why did he stop the pull at 6400?

Hey Tony, I'm keeping a close eye on your project. Because you know I want to do the samething. I hope you get all the upgrades needed to open up the motors full potential. I think with the exhaust and other little upgrades and raising the boost you'd probably be surprised at what #'s you'd hit. Keep us updated.

The stock exhuast...chokes the car. I had the stock 240sx exhuast on mine,It was causing way too much lag, so i ran a open downpipe for a bit, it was like driving a whole new car. To loud though.

Actually his powerloss through drivetrain is very minimal. Usually autos have a 25%-30% loss. But if you calculate his loss it is only 18%. And a 5spd has a 15% loss. If he gets an upgraded torque converter then I'm sure he will even the playing field with manuals.
