Dynamic range on our Premium Bose system?

Discussion of Infiniti's amazing (and underrated) sport-luxury crossovers, the EX35 and EX37. For 2014, the EX series will be renamed QX50, in line with Ininfiit's new naming conventions.

I was wondering exactly how many watts of power is the Bose system? The dealership had no idea, and it seems like no one on the interwebz does either...

it's always the same 11 speaker etc etc etc, i read that article about how they designed it for the 07+ models etc etc, but they specifically chose not to mention numbers.

i'm asking because as happy as i am with the overall quality, I definitely could use a bit more bump in bass, i mean it's not enough to really complain about, it's more a creature comfort that i want to add.... something like a really thin basslink or bazooka

so i was wondering about the numbers so i could run some tests and figure out exactly how much more power i might be looking to add.

i think if you add any more bass, the car will rattle. There is the right amount of bass that make music sounds good. beyond it, you will hear metallic rattling in your music. imo, ex35 has plenty of bass but it might be different for you but don't put to much bass that your car will rattle like crazy.

yea that's why i wanna know how much Wattage they are running in the actual system. I'm not an audiophile, but i do have some basic knowledge on sound, that's why i'm not lookin to throw in some crazy 1000W subs or w/e, i just need a bit more, and so i wanted to know what the numbers are currently running

I agree. I'm a music aficionado and have been disappointed with the low maximum volume output. I'd love to boost across the board, reasonably, but I fear that a install techie would do more harm than good to the current system

yea, i mean i can do something simple like install a LOC and hook it up to a selfpowered sub, and i know i would be a lot more careful than most of those techie's...

so it looks like no one actually knows the total Watt-age of our system? I guess most people are happy with the sound?

it is definitely very orientated towards maximum cabin enjoyment, but there is a mid-low that is missing, and also I'd like to "feel" the bass a bit more, hence why i really want to add a small powered sub, maybe under the seats or something to give that extra oomph
