So i decided to plasti dip the chrome grill inserts on the M37x to make it look closer to the sport model. I think it turned out well!

>I started off by masking the entire car with some trash bags and red masking tape. I did not remove anything as far as the logo or grille itself.

Its so easy and it looks very nice! you should most def do it.

Quick question: is there a a difference between a 2011 m37 and a 2014 Q70?

Well done, mate ! You left the frame and emblem untouched and dipped just the grille itself. That is far and away better looking than the OEM black grilles. I just re-did my grille too - post is in the 35/45 forum from yesterday.

Well done job, looks great...but why didn't you just take the grille off? Weren't you worried about the pasti dip getting beyond the grille?...like on the radiator. I am a newbie at hooking your car up, but that crossed my mind.

In picture five you can see that i took the plastic engine cover off and put bags to block the over spray into the radiator. Taking the grill off was not necessary in my opinion.

I'd did this the same way as M37Rhino. Easy to drop cardboard in there to protect the radiator. I definitely would have removed the grille if it did not require the front bumper to be removed first to do it.
