DVD System on 09 Maxima

Just wondering if anyone installed an aftermarket DVD system in their 09 Maxima yet. Ive been trying to figure where to put the system in the front for headrest LCDs. If anyone has pics of their setup that would be cool or any suggestions of where to mount the dvd player in the front.

I haven't seen anyone who has done it yet, but Metra has released a single DIN kit so it's bound to be coming soon. I'd keep an eye on Car Domain...

Do you have the Navigation on your Maxima?

I just re-read your post again. If you just want a DVD player for the headrests, then just put a DVD player under the seat or in the trunk, leave the dash stock.

I have seen headrest screens where the top of it comes out just slightly and you insert the DVD in the top of the screen. Maybe keep an eye out for those?

If you have the color screen on your '09 Maxima, it is rather simple and inexpensive (with the purchase of a DVD player) to watch DVDs on your front factory screen. Mount the DVD player in your center console or under a seat.......you can even watch the DVD while the car is driving!
