DVD not showing on front screen

OK all, I am in park, vehicle stopped, yet the screen keeps saying that the screen will when the vehicle has stopped moving (or something like that). Bottom line, all I get is audio and the dvd controls showing up on the front dash even though I am at complete stop, vehicle in park, engine turned off except with ignition turned part way so I get power to the system. Any thoughts why nothing on front screen? Sorry failed to mention, this is a 2008 QX56.

try this:

drive the car. have a friend in the passenger seat.

when you are above 14 mph,

have the passenger attempt to enter a navigation/waypoint into the built in navigation system as you are driving above 14mph.

you should NOT be able to do this.

report your findings.
