Any suggestions for a good set of DVD headrests for the G37 coupe and where to go to get them. Live in L.A./Ventura County, but can order online as well.

Thanks.

I highly doubt you will find headrests with the monitors already in them. I suggest looking for a pair to install in the factory headrests. Should just require some cutting.

Have you set up your front Nav screen to play DVD's while in motion? I did that for my two boys and they are happy as clams and do not need any rear screens.

Lot cheaper considering it only costs about $5-$10 to complete this mod.

All you need to purchase is a DPDT switch and some 20 or 22 gauge wire. See my thread in the Armada/QX56 Forum. What you end up doing is interrupting the VSS wire and the Parking Brake wire going AV unit.

It is a very simple mod and it takes more time to take the center dash apart then doing the actual mod.

Let me know if you have any questions, I am happy to help and I did this mod on my G37.

A good DVD Headrest system is the Invision SL series (www.invisionautomotive.com). Yes, they are a little pricey but can be gotten from eBay for $1200-1500). A nice feature is the built-in DVD players in each headrest which can be played individually or together. I purchased these for my 08 G35x which were simple to install....removed my factory headrests and put these bad boys in. Wiring was straight forward and didnt require extreme modification or splicing. Unfortunately, Invision only deals with OEM manufacturers or dealerships so you will need to contact your local Infiniti about purchase. I also know that Audiovox makes a comparable product too.
