this is interesting, if you can hook up 2 additional screens to the factory dvd player yourself, please take pictures and do a write up. i'm interested to see if this is workable with the 06 system. thanks

Why would you go get this installed? Doing it yourself is incredibly easy.

Take out glove box
take out screws holding glove box compartment in
unplug back of navigation dvd player
insert bypass device
pull up cupholder trim in the center console
unscrew any screws that you see
pull shifter leather cover stuff down
undo pin holding the shifter knob in place
shift into neutral
pull up the rest of the center console
unscrew 2 screws and pull of radio faceplate
feed wire and switch through to wherever you want it to be located
put everything back together.

It really is incredibly easy. I think there are like 12 screws total that need to be taken out, everything else is pry off and press back together. The trickiest part of the whole thing is just angling the glove box correctly to get in out/back in

Hasn't came in yet, but a previous post sort of threw me off. Is it going to plug into the Navi/DVD or to the actual DVD in the middle console? And if its the Navi system is that where I will playing the DVD;s from?

navi

It plugs in behind the navigation DVD as far as I know. I havent actually looked at this one, but that is where the hack is always done. You intercept both the navigation and parking brake signal, that is done behind the nav DVD drive. And no, you still play movies from the normal DVD drive.

But writing in all caps on the internet is commonly perceived as shouting/yelling. Try making up your own style of writing as I do. :)

I took the car down to the shop today. To have the HId conversion on the headlights and throw in the navi. I'm glad I went with the plug in version vs splicing wires, That sucker works perfect!!

I'm glad I took it in, I had a headlight out. Replaced the bulbs and kept blowing fuses. COme to find out the OEM bulbs were never out, the factory ballast is bad on my drivers side. I called Infiniti to see about a replacement ballast..WOW!!! $580, for one!!!! What a rip off. So I'm order some aftermarket ballast, and going to replace both ballast with a new system...

Got my foglight HID conversion done as well and I love the 3000k fogs, glad I went with them
