From what i've read it's powered by a 2jz backed by a th400 trans, gt42 turbo and lots-o-spray, and maxed a dyno at 1000hp.

Duy told me its a GT47-80mm turbo with a 75 shot spool up (on the trans brake) and 225 shot of spray when the trans brake is released. 2JZ GTE motor with TH350/400 behind it.

The driver of the car stated the spool up shot was 50 hp and the nitrous shot was 200....

Its running a 30" tall drag radial on it with a J30 diff and DSS axels from Mazworx

On their second pass, a cam gear came off and took the motor out.

I am looking forward to them getting it back together and seeing how fast they can go with that setup.. Should be VERY quick...

what you mean is that he has .6 liters more...makes it more realistic. Kinda like comparing a RB25 to a 5 cylinder 4.5 inline 5 from GM. The GM is obviously bigger, yet lacks a cylinder.

a 3200lb stock body supra with stock irs has run 7.88 @ 181 so i would imagine duy can go plenty fast.
