I bought a new Clutch slave cylinder about 8 months ago and installed it.. worked fine until 2 days ago.. Driving down 1-95 and my truck wouldn't shift out of 5th.. so I force it out of 5th and try to get it to 4th...nothing.. I pull off turn the truck off and get towed home.. I look under the truck and the duralast Clutch slave cylinder is leaking..

So I think..Not a prob..take it off and rebuild it right? WRONG I took it off and it fell apart in my hand including a bolt hole..so now I'm going to Nissan and getting a new one and thus ends my rant

For those kinds of parts always use NAPA or Nissan, cost a bit more but tow costs are more and leave you stranded. For easy cheap crap autozone can be okay but for parts that can put you down always spend the extra and get quality parts.

Note for the future: Don't buy critical parts from Auto Zone.

OEM for imports, Napa for domestics.

Those are typically brand name stuff like Timken, etc. That's OK.
