Used them is maybe 20 engines, best bearings available IMO

I've got clevite 77's in my car right now as well. The shop that did the work on my motor swears by them. They do a lot of drag car motors.

same here, my machine guys are the same, they got a picture on the wall of the very first bonneville (salt flat speed record drag car) ... they helped build the engine for it, the car is in the 300 club and it was umpteen years ago (70s i think)

and they insisted that i use clevite 77s when i assembled .. and ill probably be using them again on my other block, if i ever get this crank from Fraz

i'd pribably use Clevite if they were easily obtainable here in the UK, I use Duraglides though, they have a good rep and are cheap.
