Hi,

I duplicate my thread, because sentra/g20 forum seems to be not very informative. So, as it says:

Does anybody have a picture of installed sandwich plate on fwd sr20de?I have few clearance issues.

Thanks.

Im actually fighting the same situation. Only diffrence is im doing mine on a fwd sr20det engine. I'll try to take some pics when i figure something out. By the way are the sr20de and sr20det engines the same as far as location of things? Ex: is the oil filter mounted in the same location?

The problem im having with my sandwich plate is that the stud where the oil filter goes is too long. its about 4 inches long and only the bottom 2 inch have threads so the fitting that holds the sandwich plate up against the block doesn't reach the thread and 2. even if the 4 inch long stud were threaded all the way the sandwich plate is only about 1 inch thick which leaves me with 3 extra inches of stud. It's a weird situation.

i've yet to find a good solution to our sandwich plate sitiuation. But i did come across this oil filter adaptor and wonder if it may be better use this and a oil filter relocation kit. I belive you would have to remove the stock oil filter mounting plate and bolt this up in its place.
