I was wondering if any of you have used the "Dupli-Color Perfect Match" paint? I was wondering because my roof paint is fading pretty bad and I want to re-paint it but I'm on a budget. I saw this stuff in O'reilly auto today and was thinking about giving it a go. However, I wanted to know if any of you guys have tried it out?

you don't have 20 bucks for primer paint and clear just for your roof? it'll cost you 20 bucks for all the duplicunt stuff anyways.

I was just asking to see if anyone has seen how good the color match is to our factory colors.

True. Well, enough with the talk. I'll post a write-up when I end up doing it.

The only thing that makes me wonder about these is that the paint is matched perfectly with the paint your car had from the factory. But your cars paint has been outdoors for 18 years now, getting worn by the sun and all the other crap that messes it up. So it may be very close depending on the wear of your paint, but imo after 18 years the paint on your car is probably pretty far from factory original itself.

Far from factory is quite right. The guy I bought the shell off of back in 2003 had it sitting under pine trees. Which I'm sure is horrible for paint.
