Anyone run these yet? Dunlop Winter Sport M3 (Performance Winter) Found them on TireRack. They've gotten excellent reviews for snow and dry pavement. http://www.tirerack.com/tires/...rt+M3

Not too bad of a price either, priced four of them with steel wheels and they came to less than $600, not shipped. Like the fact that most people said they had good dry traction and good tread wear. We all know how Ohio gets, snow one day 55 the next. Was thinking of getting just two for the rear. I know I need to steer too, but its getting going I have the problem with, braking and steering I'm good at on ice and snow. Plus I need new tires for this summer and didn't want to buy two full sets this year. Also would it be OK to run 195 on 16X6.5 rims? That should about do it for now.

i ran them last winter on my accord...just up front...but they stuck very well...i was going to get them again but when i was looking they didnt have the size i needed anymore...then two weeks later they did. Very good winter tire...i live in erie if that counts too

also i ran them all through the summer too...they arnt bad but not great... dont expect performance driving in dry from them...all seasons or summers are still way better in the dry.

Didn't plan on running them through the summer. Actually I plan on running some Dunlop SP 9000's read very good stuff about them. On the snow tires do you think it would matter to run two different sizes front to rear?

For rainy conditions they are great if you dont mind being a little sideways on turns. Good control for all of dunlop's makes through the elements (snow, rain, oilslick) (j/k) and if you like to let loose in large parking lots in the elements you will know these tires will not last long. Thats the problem with them, they wear away too quickly.

From what I've read thought they wear better than Blizzaks. Can anyone confirm that?

You should be able to confirm that by comparing the treadwear rating between the two tires.

I'm surprised the Dunlops got a good review, i used to have a set of a/s sp5000's (came with the car when i bought it) man, they were terrible in the rain. Imagine making a simple right hand turn, on semi-wet pavement, at 15mph, and the back end loses traction. Lame!

I love my Bridgestones..

i ran 195s in the snow cause its a smaller contact patch. as far as wear...by the end of summer i was needing new tires...they do wear quick...i dont know about other dunlops but the M3s were great...granted i had them on an FF car but they should do good on FRs too.
