now i found this on the SS autochrome web site. i was wondering if this would work with the gt2871r and the ssautochrome manifold (reenforced) stock location. i am pretty sure it will work but reliability is a big term for me and i need it to be really reliable. if anyone uses this please speak up and let me know what you think. or do you guys think it would be safer for me to fab up my own flange/dump?

its at the very bottom of the page:"S13 SINGLE HUGE TRUST STYLE TURBO OUTLET DUMP PIPE"http://www.ssautochrome.com/level.itml/icOid/1531

thanks guys i am pretty sure i will have to reinforce everything but at least i won't have to recreate the wheel

hello, please look at your gt2871r on the exhaust side. if there is a blocking between the turbine and the little dump hole (can't remember what it is called) then you can not use anything with a divider. I am really not fond of a screw in divider, either have one or don't have one at all.

As a gt2871r owner myself, I know you probably already have a divider so look for something without one. I am going with the megan one because theirs don't have it. I also plan to buy their down pipe as well since it is 3" and has a flex pipe

did I say hole? sorry I was sleepy

I meant the divider that comes between the turbine and the internal wastegate.

If you turbo already has it, which gt2871r has, your dump pipe must not have it.

Weird, I've never seen a 2871R with the divider. Only the OEM S15 T28.

Well, they are both the same turbo. ATP also sells it with the "T28 style" compressor housing-- http://www.atpturbo.com/Mercha...e=GRT

I think I shoud clarify some more

I actually have 2 gt2871r... the GT2871R - 472560 - 15 is a newer style that has the divider while the older disc potato type has no divider

If it was for the SR you are done, do not pass go. You have two choices; sell it and get some of your investment back or have it cut apart and reworked to fit the CA.
