Has anyone tested this piece before or heard of the seller? A2R Inc.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...79490 Ebay Link.

I'm looking at this pipe and wondered if anyone has any suggestions. I'm thinking for $72.00 it is worth a shot, plus if the welds are bad, I can just re-weld it or use the device as a template and build my own. Plus it comes with gaskets! *yay* I emailed the seller about it but have not recieved a response as of yet. The description says it is T-304 as well. But 304 is cheap and I have had good (Blitz exhaust) pieces rust so I dunno. Although I could just 'borrow' some Inconnel from work .. nah.

I saw the piece that Bronze MFP just got and it is bad azz, but it is for an RB20 with R32 Xmember. I'm using an R33 S1 RB25 and the stock RPS13 Xmember, so I would assume that piece would not work for me. (Wish it would though )

Just looking for suggestions.

Thanks!l0nestar.

the j-pipe is worth a shot, but i would upgrade the dp if you havent already.

the quality of the steel is not something that i would worry about ... ive bought a few ebay mani's, na header, and dp's not to mention know people that are running them and they have no problems. IF IF IF for some reason it cracks, it will be where 2 pieces of metal are welded together and is a $10-20 fix at your buddies house (or a local muffler shop).

take a look:http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...%3AIT

ive been trying to figure out what im going to do for my rb25 swap ... as you know mckinney offers a dp but at a steep price imo. from looking at this ebay dp and mckinneys, I CANT SEE A POSITIONING DIFFERENCE !! can you!?!

Yes, that is the kit I was going to buy, but they are out of the Down Pipes. I guess I will just ahve to buy the J-Pipe and make a Down Pipe. No big deal.

Has anyone tried to use one of those turbo elbows and cut and rerouted the wastegate tube to the other side after the 02 sensor to see if it clears better? Or does the steering shaft hit the main exhaust tube and not just the wastegate one? Been thinking of getting one and refabbing it to clear better.

if you're running a stock turbo, the elbow i talk about in another thread should work for you. check out the one labeled rb20 turbo elbow

It hits hard. not like it rubs, but the steering shaft goes right through the center of the assembly.

It does not even almost fit.
